1. Skirt Panel
Worked from the bottom up, this panel forms the main body of the dress with a beautiful scalloped hem.

- Row 1: 91 ch [91]
- Row 2: sk, 90 sc [90]
- Row 3: dc in each stitch across [90]
- Rows 4–11: dc in each stitch across [90]
- Row 12: (2 sk, shell, 2 sk, dc) × 15 [90]
- Fasten off and weave in ends.
2. Bodice Front
Worked directly onto the top edge of the skirt panel to create the front of the bodice.

- Row 1: 45 sc picked up evenly [45]
- Row 2: hdc in each stitch across [45]
- Rows 3–12: hdc in each stitch across [45]
- Fasten off.
3. Bodice Back
Mirrors the front bodice, worked onto the remaining top edge of the skirt panel.

- Row 1: 45 sc picked up evenly [45]
- Row 2: hdc in each stitch across [45]
- Rows 3–12: hdc in each stitch across [45]
- Fasten off.
4. Straps
Simple, sturdy straps in sage green to finish the neckline. Make two.
- Row 1: 11 ch [11]
- Row 2: sk, 10 sc [10]
- Rows 3–16: sc in each stitch across [10]
- Fasten off.
5. WithMe signature heart
The same little heart sits on every WithMe original — our way of signing it with love. Use any contrast colour from the project.
- Round 1: 3 tr, 3 dc, ch, tr, ch, 3 dc, 3 tr in a magic ring [15] — Ch 3 first (it doesn't count as a stitch). After the last stitch, ch 3 and sl st into the ring, then pull the ring tight — the dip at the top of the heart forms as you pull.
- Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing the heart in place.
Finishing
- Block all panels to measurements if desired.
- Sew the shoulder seams, attaching the straps evenly across the top edges of the front and back bodice.
- Sew the side seams from the bottom hem up to the armholes.
- Weave in all remaining ends securely.
- Sew the small signature WithMe heart in warm cream on the lower left hem, just above the dusty rose scallop edge.
Tips from the WithMe studio
- Use stitch markers to evenly divide the top edge of the skirt for the front and back bodice pick-up rows.
- When changing colours for the scalloped hem, join the new yarn in the last yarn over of the final double crochet to ensure a clean colour transition.

Frequently asked questions
Can I make this dress longer?
Absolutely! Simply repeat the solid double crochet rows (Rows 4-11) as many times as needed to reach your desired length before working the scalloped hem.
What if I want a different colour palette?
This pattern is highly customizable. Try blush for the main body with sage green for the hem, or keep it monochrome in warm cream for a classic, minimalist look.
